CHARLOTTE MECKLENBURG SCHOOLS
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (more commonly referred to as CMS) is the second largest school district in North Carolina with a student enrollment of approximately 132,000. CMS is the twentieth largest school district in the nation.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education governs CMS and is made up of 9 members. The CMS Board of Education oversees 19 high schools, 32 middle schools and 94 elementary schools. CMS is constantly growing to accommodate the influx of new residents to the Charlotte-Metro area.

University and Northern Mecklenburg Hopewell High School : Located in the rapidly growing area of North Mecklenburg County, Hopewell High School was founded in 1991 to serve the areas of Huntersville, Cornelius and Davidson. Hopewell offers Advanced Placement, College Prep and technology courses along with performing arts and a wide range of varsity and junior varsity sports.
Hopewell athletic teams are known as the Titans and their main rival is North Mecklenburg.
