Cotswold Real Estate

Cotswold is one of Charlotte's most comfortable neighborhoods, with it's 50's and 60's style homes, wooded lots, and friendly residents. Convenient to Uptown Charlotte, and close to Myers Park, Elizabeth, and South Park, Cotswold makes living easy with many restaurants and the recently expanded Cotswold Village Shopping Center, Charlotte's first mall, which contains a huge Harris Teeter grocery store, Books-A-Million, a drug store and numerous eateries.

Along Cotswold's maze of quiet streets, updates and renovations are being made to some of the ranch-style homes and businesses, mimicking the desire for better living among many Charlotte areas, while retaining it's comfortable personality. Elderly neighbors and young families alike can be seen strolling through Cotswold throughout the day and evening.

There is never a dull moment when dining in Cotswold. Cotswold Village Shopping Center offers choices like Charley's, one of Charlotte's oldest restaurants, famous for their french onion soup and chicken fingers with honey. This American bistro has something for everyone, the prices are good, and the food is always fresh and tasty. Hotel Charlotte, not a hotel but a restaurant, is another longtime Charlotte favorite. Cozy and dim, it's packed throughout the week with patrons looking for a great meal and interesting beer. Nearby is Eddie's Place, with great food and long waits for Sunday brunch. Cotswold is home to other eateries such as the Pizza Peel, Mama Fu's, Breugger's, and Salsarita's.

If you're in the mood to do a little shopping, look no further. With a huge bookstore, cosmetics mecca Ulta, discount retailers Marshall's and Steinmart, a Rack Room Shoestore, and a gift boutique, there's always a new treasure to be found. Cotswold also has a fine art gallery, several salons, and a medical office park.

Though not steeped in rich history, Cotswold is a scenic and solid neighborhood with options for everyone.
