Cabarrus County, NC Real Estate

Concord Real Estate:

With a name that means "harmony", Concord is most certainly a wonderful place to live.  Winner of the 2004 All-American City Award and county seat, Concord is a growing city near Charlotte's University City.  Lowes Motor Speedway and NASCAR Speedpark are located here and host numerous NASCAR events each year.  It is also home to the Concord Mills shopping center and Cabarrus County Area and Events Center.  Concord is located 20 miles northeast of Charlotte, easily accessible via the interstate.

Harrisburg Real Estate:

Harrisburg, a growing town with rural roots, has seen a lot of change over the years, and has maintained it's comfortable community and family oriented feel.  Convenient to I-85 and I-485, Harrisburg's main thoroughfare of Highway 49 runs directly into Uptown Charlotte.  Still small in size and population, the town has everything residents need for modern living, and everything that typically is sacrificed because of modern living.  You can still see cows grazing in pastures, families taking a stroll after supper, and the whole town is always cheering on the high school football team during the championship game.  A comfortable mix of mostly middle-class households, Harrisburg is a refreshing place to live.

Kannapolis Real Estate:

With a strong local government and commited residents, Kannapolis has steadily grown over the years into an ideal place to live and work.  With the North Carolina Research Center being built, this small but expanding city has a bright future.  Kannapolis has an array of churches, excellent schools, museums, and plenty of fun things to do.  It's home to the popular Kannapolis Intimidators baseball team, an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.  Closeby are Lowes Motor Speedway, Concord Mills, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Lake Norman.  With it's many parks and ballfields, Kannapolis is a family friendly community with a strong business mind, a great combination of tradition and progress.

Mount Pleasant Real Estate:

Small in size and large in charm, Mount Pleasant was once called Mount Comfort, and still has a cozy and kind personality.  East of Concord and Harrisburg, Mount Pleasant has seen steady growth in it's home sales and prices.  With a friendly community and many locally owned businesses, simple Mount Pleasant is close to the attaractions of it's neighboring cities and a calm place to live.

Midland Real Estate:

The rural town of Midland is dedicated to maintaining it's small town feel, having kept it's residents happy and comfortable throughout it's history.  Once a railroad town, Midland is a quiet place to call home, with easy access to louder and more entertaining parts of Charlotte and Concord.  Each fall the town sees some excitment with the Midland Magic Festival, an opportunity for the strong community to come together for a little fun.

Locust Real Estate:

A small but thriving community, Locust has much to offer as far as easy living goes. Named after the locust tree, the city will see a lot of growth in the future with businesses moving in, the new Red Bridge Golf & Country Club being built, and medical center being expanded.
